Privacy policy

Effective October 28, 2026.

MeetSign is a free, offline utility published by Zhepei Shen. The app has no accounts, advertising, analytics, tracking, subscriptions or third-party SDKs. It does not request access to your contacts, camera, microphone or location. The system Photos picker shares only the photos or videos you explicitly select; the app does not request access to your full library.

Your signs

Names and meeting notes are processed on your device. They are not sent to us or any external service. Unsaved text is held in app memory. A sign is stored locally only when you tap Save. Saved files use iOS data protection and are excluded from device backups. You can swipe left on a saved sign to delete it, delete all saved signs in Settings, or uninstall the app to remove its data.

Selected photos and videos

Selected photos and videos are processed locally. Videos are converted to silent clips; temporary media files use iOS data protection, are excluded from backups and are removed when no longer needed. Unsaved media is not added to saved signs. Saving a sign explicitly stores its selected media on this device. We do not upload your text, photos or videos. If you connect an external display, the displayed content is visible on that display.

Preferences and display

Language and brightness preferences are stored locally using iOS preferences. The app keeps the display awake only while showing a sign. If enabled, maximum brightness applies during display and is restored when you close the sign or switch apps. The app covers passenger information in its background preview.

Support and this website

If you email us, we receive the address and information you voluntarily include. We use this only to respond to your request. Do not send passenger information. This website has no analytics, cookies or advertising. Its server necessarily processes connection information such as IP addresses to deliver pages; infrastructure providers may retain operational or security logs. This website’s operation is separate from the offline app.

Children and changes

MeetSign does not collect information from children or any other app users. Material changes will be reflected in this policy and its effective date.
